Superficial chemical peeling
The purpose of using chemical peels is to accelerate the processes of cellular renewal in the skin.
Superficial chemical peeling is the least traumatic procedure for the skin compared to other chemical peels. When conducting superficial peels, the depth of the effect is small: they can be carried out very superficially, affecting only the stratum corneum, which does not contain living cells, somewhat deeper, affecting several layers of the epidermis, consisting of living cells. In any case, the depth of penetration of acid into the skin during superficial peelings is measured in hundredths of a millimeter.
